Whisperings from a Beautifully Untamed Life
Teena Osmond is an Australian writer, artist, and founder of Surf Meets Southwest. She is the creator of Beam Creek Cottage in Montville on the Sunshine Coast, and the author of Wild Remembering, a collection of reflections shaped by place, memory, and stillness.
✧
Wild Remembering began quietly.
Some memories never really leave the paddocks they were born in.

✧
Not as a book, but as moments returning, memories of wide paddocks, weathered fences, animals who wandered through the story of a childhood,
and the quiet spaces where a girl first learned how to listen.
Over time, those memories began to gather.
Some arrived as poems.
Some as pencil sketches.
Some as half-remembered stories carried on the wind.
Together they became Wild Remembering. A gentle collection of reflections on girlhood, land, loss, and the quiet courage of becoming.
Each poem and illustration was created slowly, by hand, in the hills and valleys of the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
It is a book for those who feel most themselves beneath open skies,
for those who recognise the language of the wind in the trees,
and for anyone who has ever felt the land remembering them too.
